The HRBP serves as an internal business partner, delivering comprehensive HR programs, initiatives and solutions to the functional areas of the organization providing strategic and tactical human resources support for the assigned field operation locations. The role reports to the HR Director based in ABG Corporate Headquarters in the United States. To be successful in this demanding role, your proven track record will enable you to deliver against the following key performance areas: + Support union, non-union, management and staff in the specified departments and field locations and ensure HR compliance from both a legal and company policy perspective. + Perform day to day Generalist functions including management of full “employee life cycle” from new hire onboarding, to termination, working closely with the appropriate parties and business functions, and handling daily policy and procedure questions regarding benefits, payroll, paid time off, leaves of absence, and talent acquisition. + Streamline processes and work to implement organizational improvements as needed as a result of collaborating with business partners and the leadership team. + Work with management to define talent management needs to design and implement HR programs and practices e.g., workforce development/planning, talent acquisition, labor relations, etc. that align with and support location needs and Company goals + Facilitate leadership development and key talent retention efforts e.g., performance management, coaching/counselling/corrective actions, employee recognition and rewards, talent review, succession planning, etc. Qualifications: + Post-Secondary Degree in a related field required + 8+ years of related experience + Strong knowledge of Labor laws, Union Negotiations and Employee Relations + Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills + Ability to influence at all levels of the organization + Workday HRIS knowledge preferred Outstanding Benefits Package: Company Car, Medical, Dental, Paid Vacation, Various Discounts. #LI-SB1 Disclaimer Avis Budget is an Equal Opportunity employer - Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories The information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
