Job Description POSITION SUMMARY: Acts as senior educator teaching students how to move from traditional Waterfall development to Agile/SCRUM application development. Job Description As a trainer on this contract you will develop and present complex training of unique telecommunications platforms and systems to include complex Local and Wide Area Networks; System Administration and Network Logical Provisioning. In addition, you will coordinate with Operations and Engineering elements to identify and verify applicability of existing curriculum to insure all material is current and within defined standards. You will as well conduct comprehensive and complex training on LAN and WAN systems; messaging platforms and peripheral platforms both on-site and off-site for the client’s applications and systems to include lectures and hands-on sessions. Design and develop complex technical training programs and curricula, both on-site and on-line, for employees on various software and/or hardware applications and systems. Research and assist in writing technical and user manuals to support training. You will work with engineering, technical support, and/or applicable area to ensure that material is accurate and reflects current product features. Gather, review and analyze course evaluations to determine effectiveness of training sessions. Prepare recommendations and reports to senior level personnel and/or management. Implement approved revisions to course materials as necessary to improve training effectiveness. You will work with senior level personnel and business units/technical areas to conduct needs assessments to ensure training needs are met. Provide support with the installation hardware and designated software on designated automation equipment within the classroom environment. Update classroom training materials such as student handouts, lesson plans, overhead slides, and practical exercises, as required due to new software, hardware or tasks from the client. Provide guidance and direction to less experienced trainers utilizing strong technical and training skills. + Must have a Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Poly + Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 3 years of related work experience. + Versed in operation, function and application of most types of LAN/WAN communications platforms + Must have an industry or government recognized certification as an instructor, such as CompTIA CTT+ or be willing to become certified within the first six months + We’ve been named a Best Place to Work by the Washington Post. + Our employees value the flexibility at CACI that allows them to balance quality work and their personal lives. + We offer competitive benefits and learning and development opportunities. + We are mission-oriented and ever vigilant in aligning our solutions with the nation’s highest priorities. + For over 55 years, the principles of CACI’s unique, character-based culture have been the driving force behind our success. + Advanced knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office automation tools, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint + Experience with Black Board, Moodle and other training tools + Familiarization with today’s on-line training environments + Experienced in developing various types of documentation, such as training manuals, student manuals, and reference material + Willing to travel abroad to conduct training + Ability to develop graphics in Microsoft Visio or PowerPoint + Course design experience with H5P, Articulate or StoryLine + Experience in creating/design of interactive video segments + Experience in design/development in video animation + Knowledge of or experience with online training LMS. + Knowledge or experience with producing and editing high-end video based training solutions.
