**JOB TITLE:** Phenomic Data Project Manager-MD **LOCATION:** North Bethesda Maryland **DEPARTMENT:** Research **WORK SCHEDULE:** Days **WORK TYPE:** Full Time 1.0 FTE **JOB SUMMARY:** Manages medium to large size projects and like sized phases of enterprise projects utilizing GHS standardized Project Management Methodology (PMM). Will manage multiple projects concurrently. Works collaboratively with project stakeholders both internal and external and functional managers to develop project goals and objectives, set project timeline, manage change, and control scope. Responsible for managing project artifacts. Effectively utilizes project management tools. Leads project team in collaboration with IT functional leadership to achieve project goals and objectives on time and within budget. Reports and appropriately escalates project progress, concerns, and issues to project stakeholders and Research leadership. Receives direction from Associate Director, Biostatistics Core. **COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:** Demonstrated ability to successfully lead medium to large sized technology and/or business projects using a standardized methodology. Demonstrated success leading multiple technology and/or business projects. Must possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills along with strong facilitation and presentation skills, and the ability to bring a project team to consensus on issues. Must be able to communicate difficult/sensitive information in a diplomatic and tactful way. Demonstrated capability to successfully handle multiple project teams and multiple tasks simultaneously and under strict deadlines. Demonstrated knowledge of and practical application of formal project management methodologies, including PMI's PMBOK® Guide. Experience using project management software, including Microsoft Project, is preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of formal business analysis methodologies, including IIBA's BABOK® Guide preferred. Demonstrates a high level of initiative and independence. Experience in health care is preferred. **EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or Information Systems required. Min of three (3) years of experience managing projects in a lead role, or working on successful IT related projects, or equivalent skill set is required.
