Essential Job Duties: + Support the successful delivery of payroll for U.S. employees for a multi-state, multi-pay cycle fast paced environment including: + Payroll operations to meet stakeholder requirements, service and customer level performance metrics and Campbell policies and procedures. + An advanced understanding of payroll operations: time and attendance, complexity within gross to net calculations, payroll taxes, general ledger and their impact on the financials. A tiered support model for payroll delivery including, customer satisfaction, process improvement, automation, training, content development and ongoing maintenance for areas of responsibility. + Act as subject matter expert for payroll operational issues. + Manage the garnishment process for U.S. employees: + Subject Matter Expert for payroll team, audit and troubleshoot problems for the team. + Research issues with courts and provide data for agencies as needed. + Scanning/ mail for garnishments. + Distribution of outgoing garnishment checks to agencies on a weekly basis. + Support garnishment related cases to provide guidance, direction for inquiries, questions. + Support the payroll operations accounting and tax process: + Analysis of accounts and variances in coordination with tax adjustments and related questions for support to the customer. + Complete stop payments, positive pay, direct deposit pull backs, fraudulent check investigations, NOCS. + Complete data research for internal and external audits, including ADP to Workday tax updates. + Manage the escheatment process with analysis of tracker, outstanding checks and audits. + Perform payroll account reconciliation and various other banking activities that pertain to payroll operations. + Serve as liaison between Accenture and internal departments (Payroll, Tax operations and Garnishments focus). + Manage work by third-party provider (Accenture) providing finance and accounting services to Campbell; provide governance and oversight; manage issue escalation as appropriate. + Lead activities across the U.S. and Bangalore teams including reviews, audits and reconciliations. + Develop and ensure implementation of specific project plans, policy and procedures and change management procedures + Represent process areas on key projects teams that affect the department and provide appropriate support to modify the operational procedures. + Test lead for payroll operations related projects. + Support corporate projects as assigned.
