As a Technical Program Manager in Experiences at Oculus, you will play a key role in defining and driving highly complex, cross-functional features enabling the creative teams to showcase current and future technologies. You will lead execution on all phases of the software development life-cycle, design, planning requirements, managing schedules, identifying and tracking risks, and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. The ideal individual for this role is a multi-faceted and innovative problem-solver and producer that has an eye for great creative work and talent. **Required Skills:** 1. Develop project schedules based on product requirements, technical challenges, and business needs. 2. Manage communication within and between product management, software, hardware, and user research teams. 3. Work with teams to set milestones, communicate project statuses, and identify and address potential setbacks. 4. Help establish preliminary processes to align cross-functional teams. 5. Work cross-functionally to develop best practices and product development processes in a quickly-changing and dynamic environment. 6. Ensure project documents are complete, current and available for staff and leadership review. 7. Engage with cross-functional teams to identify constraints, dependencies, risks/issues, and to deliver software features. 8. Identify resources needed and work closely with the team leads to maintain full visibility of multiple projects, ensuring resource gaps are addressed efficiently. 9. Give and solicit feedback on outcomes to continually raise the quality and craftsmanship of the product. 10. Up to 20% travel. **Minimum Qualifications:** 11. BS in a technical field, design, arts or equivalent degree. 12. 1+ years experience in a program manager or producer role working in a cross-functional software development environment. 13. Experience managing external creative and production partners. 14. Design experience in a consumer electronics environment. 15. Knowledge of software development processes and best practices. 16. Experience using project and issue tracking systems. 17.
