This role will involve taking a lead in being the linkbetween our local legal and compliance teams \(for the wider Cigna business\) inAsia and our business operations worldwide ensuring that we are applying rulescompliantly and consistently\. This rolewill involve travel and the ability to work as part of a worldwide team\. Inaddition the successful individual will have the ability to take a leading rolein our new market entry and implementation teams, evaluating opportunities andsetting up new country operations and products in Asia and elsewhere\. **Job Description:** + To take a leading role in providingcompliance advice and support to the IPMI business in relation to a number ofcomplex regulatory projects worldwide\. + Working closely with crossdisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and in a fully compliant manner\. + To liaise with the locallegal and compliance teams in our Asian markets \(Hong Kong, Singapore,Thailand, Indonesia and elsewhere\) to ensure our IPMI operations continue toevolve and comply with local regulations\. + Horizon scanning to alertthe IPMI business of any changes in regulations in Asian markets\. + To carry out specific work in conjunction withthe Head of Legal and Compliance including the review and monitoring ofrelevant legislation and other relevant legislative changes\. Provide trainingas appropriate to local teams \(including assisting with/ creating the relevanttraining materials to be used\), reviewing existing operational processes toensure compliance\. + Providing day to daysupport to IPMI sales and other staff based in Hong Kong, Singapore and otherAsian markets\. + Manage compliancemonitoring and review process, manage and prioritise areas for review with thebusiness and senior management\. Highlight areas where there can be improvementsin our compliance operations and work with our business to investigate andremediate these\. + To provide data protectionguidance and advice to the business as required for our Asian markets\. Oversee complex data subject access requestsaccording to the legislation and manage the overall process with support fromother colleagues who can carry out DataSubject Access Request’s \(DSAR’s\) as directed and to advise staff as necessaryshould a change be necessary to the existing process\. Investigate dataprotection breaches, assess risk and advise the business line on actions to betaken\. Work with the Global Privacy Office on complex issues\. + Manage the OFAC, Finscanand other required sanctions scanning, arrange the review of any potentialmatches and monitor the process to ensure appropriate checks are carried out\.Manage relevant Anti Money Laundering processes\. + To manage the third partydue diligence process for Asian markets \(particularly in relation to proposedbroker relationships\) on behalf of the Head of Legal and Compliance\. Ensurethat adequate records are maintained in relation to broker relationships\. + General compliance dutiesincluding but not limited to creating, drafting and delivering compliancetraining\.
